Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup fat free milk
  • 1/2 cup COFFEE-MATE® Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Flavor Liquid Coffee Creamer
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Directions

PREHEAT waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions.

WHISK together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl.

WHISK together eggs, milk, Coffee Mate and butter in a separate large bowl.

ADD milk mixture to flour mixture. Stir until combined.

COOK waffles according to manufacturer’s directions, using a scant ¼ cup of batter per waffle. Place waffles on a wire rack between batches to avoid steaming.

SERVE waffles hot topped with berries, maple syrup or whipped cream, if desired.
