Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 3 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons butter, melted, divided, plus more for greasing skillet
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound frozen bread dough, defrosted according to package directions
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons COFFEE-MATE® natural bliss® Maple Pecan Flavor All-Natural Coffee Creamer
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Pinch salt

Directions

COMBINE pecans, brown sugar, granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons butter, cinnamon and salt in small bowl; stir well.

ROLL dough into 16 x 10-inch rectangle with long side facing you. Brush 1 tablespoon butter over dough. Sprinkle pecan-sugar mixture over dough. Starting at edge closest to you (long side), tightly roll up dough; seal edges with water. Using serrated knife, cut into 10 slices.

BRUSH 10-inch cast iron or ovenproof skillet with a little melted butter. Place dough cut side up in skillet. Cover; let rise in warm place for about 30 minutes or until dough almost fills skillet. If desired, brush top of dough with a little Coffee-mate or melted butter.

PREHEAT oven to 350° F.

BAKE for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare the icing.

WHISK together cream cheese and Coffee-mate natural bliss Creamer in small bowl until smooth; whisk in powdered sugar and salt until smooth. Drizzle over rolls. Serve warm. Cook’s Tip: 1 pound frozen bread dough rolls can be used in place of bread dough. Simply press defrosted rolls together to form a ball, and then roll out according to recipe above.
