What’s your favorite meal? Do you cook?: Ribeye steak. Love to cook-especially experiment with changing recipes to meet what I have available on hand and the tastes of my family.
How do you unwind after a long day?: Brew my own coffee with my favorite COFFEE-MATE, and enjoy it while watching a movie on TV.
What holiday do you most look forward to, and why?: Thanksgiving, because it is usually a 4-day holiday, so there is time for cooking, relaxing and enjoying.
While there is nothing better than a fresh brewed cup of coffee with my favorite COFFEE-MATE flavor in the winter, I just cannot get as excited about it when it feels as hot outside as my coffee does.
The feeling of a warm mug in my hands filled with COFFEE-MATE flavored coffee in the winter is so comforting. I love deciding which COFFEE-MATE flavor will make my day so much sweeter, gently blowing on the coffee to make it cool enough to drink, and then savoring the taste of goodness that fills my mouth. I miss this simple pleasure in the summer, as it is simply too hot to enjoy my coffee with the same intensity when my body is saying “cool me off!”
Many can agree on this: There is nothing as refreshing as an ice cold treat on a hot day. My favorite things in summertime are shaved iced and ice cream, so one day I thought, “why not combine my favorite summertime treats with my favorite wintertime passion - a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee with my favorite COFFEE-MATE flavors?” And my frozen coffee treat was born!
To create, I make my freshly brewed coffee extra strong, and while it is brewing, I contemplate which COFFEE-MATE flavor to add. Instead of pouring my favorite COFFEE-MATE into my mug, it goes straight into the blender with ice. That way, I can enjoy my own frozen coffee treat! I love how the cold glass feels in my hot hands, and drinking my favorite COFFEE-MATE inspired beverage through a straw. I feel like a kid again!
Starting a hot day with an ice cold cup of coffee, is almost as good as beginning a cold day with a hot cup of coffee.
