Favorite Flavor:
French Vanilla- although I haven't met a flavor I don't like.
How do you have fun (hobbies, sports, vacations, etc.)?
Travel is my ultimate “fun” thing to do. I also love to spend time outdoors- walking, gardening, even lounging in the shade reading. I also love to write, shop, and take photos.
If you could travel back in time, what era would you live in?
I'm not sure I'd want to, since I like the 'now', but I think the 20's would be interesting. Things seemed much more simple back then.
What’s your favorite meal? Do you cook?
I adore cooking and love to experiment with many different types of cuisine. I love so many foods but specialty sushi would probably be amongst my favorites... I also love Cajun food.
What holiday do you most look forward to, and why?
Christmas. It's the perfect time to spend with family and friends, although I love any time that I can spend with family and friends.
I'm one of those people—You know the ones, who can't seem to function without their coffee and happen to think it is a great drink any time of the day or night. It is the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning. I've been known to drink a cup or sometimes two as late as ten in the evening. Oh, and before you ask, yes, I still manage to get a good night's sleep.
It goes without saying that I love my coffee. Sadly, I'm also one of those people who have a difficult time drinking 'hot' drinks in the summer. In the beginning this interfered with my love of having coffee throughout the day. Even with my favorite flavors of Coffee-Mate (which in my opinion is the only way to drink coffee) added in to the brew—I find it almost impossible to find comfort in a piping hot drink in the 100+ Deep South temperatures, but I want—no need, my coffee.
You see the dilemma? I thought so.
I had to come up with a plan—and that's when a friend introduced me to a frozen coffee drink. Granted—we had one at a local coffee house, but this was something I knew I could whip up on my own. I'd found it—the answer to my summertime coffee woes. So now—my routine includes one morning cup of the piping hot java with a splash of French Vanilla or Café Latte Coffee-Mate and several frozen concoctions of a frozen blended coffee drink with a little splash of various Coffee-Mate flavored creamers each day. I love that I can change the entire drink, simply by changing the flavor Coffee-Mate that I use, and my friends tell me it's just as good as the coffee house—and I'd tend to agree.
Oh and with a trip to London just around the corner—you can rest assured that even though the temperatures may be more accommodating of the hot java I'm accustomed to, I won't be without my Coffee-Mate—I've already picked up a few of my favorite powdered flavors that will join me on the plane. After all—two weeks without Coffee-Mate? That's unheard of, at least in my household.
